A cobra, o tigre e o passarinho
“The snake, the tiger and the birdie”
Um
tigre vive numa floresta cuidada por todos os animais que lá vivem.
“A tiger lives in a forest cared for by all
the animals that live there.”
Num dia
de Sol, o tigre encontra um passarinho magoado, no chão.
“On a sunny day, the tiger finds a wounded
birdie, on the ground.”
Ao ver
o passarinho magoado, a cobra acusa:
“Seeing the wounded birdie, the snake
acusses:”

Tigre! O que estás a fazer?!
“- Tiger! What are you doing?!”
O tigre
hesita e a cobra faz queixa ao leão.
“The tiger hesitates and the snake complains
to the lion.”
O leão
ordena ao elefante que chame o tigre.
“The lion orders the elephant to call the
tiger.”
O bando,
ao saber da acusação da cobra, organiza uma manifestação de apoio ao tigre.
“The band of birds organizes a manifestation of
support for the tiger.”
"O
tigre é um bom amigo!"
“The tiger is a good friend!”
"O
tigre importa-se connosco!"
“The tiger cares for us!”
"O
tigre cuida das flores!" - lê-se nos cartazes de apoio.
“The tiger takes care of the flowers!” – it
reads in the posters of support.”
O leão
reúne o Conselho da Floresta para decidir como resolver o problema.
The lion gathers the Forest Council to
decide how to solve the problem.
Depois
de ouvir o tigre, o passarinho e a cobra, o Conselho da Floresta conclui que a
cobra está a mentir!
After listening the tiger, the birdie and
the snake, the Forest Council concludes that the snake is lying!
A cobra
pede desculpa, promete não voltar a mentir e convida todos os animais da
floresta para uma festa.
The snake apologizes, promises not to lie
again and invites all the animals in the forest to a party.
O tigre
leva melancia, o passarinho morangos e o elefante flores.
The tiger takes watermelon, the birdie strawberries
and the elephant flowers.
Todos
voltam a ser amigos!
All return to being friends!
